camera iphone 8 plus apk Bachelor Special Recipe-Easy Kerala fish curry- Meen mulakittathu

Ingredients:
Fish – ½ kg (I used seer fish)
Dry red chilly
Kashmiri red chilly
Coriander seeds – 2 tbsp
Shallots – 8
Garlic – 4 cloves
Ginger – 1 big piece
Green chilly
Turmeric powder - ¾ tbsp
Kudampuli – 4
Coconut milk (Milk of 1 small coconut)
Curry leaves
Fenugreek powder – 1 pinch
Asafoetida / Hing – 2 pinches
Salt
Oil

Steps:
Heat a claypot and add coriander seeds, dry red chilly and Kashmiri red chilly.
Once it becomes hot to touch, add some coconut oil.
Add shallots, garlic, ginger and green chilly.
Saute for some time.
Switch off and let it cool.
Grind it (except coconut oil) to a smooth paste adding some water.

Transfer it back to the pan.
Add curry leaves and turmeric powder.
Mix well.
Once the masala becomes hot, add fish and mix well.
Add coconut milk, kudampuli and salt.
Cover and bring it to a boil.
Swirl the pan.
Cover and cook on medium flame till the oil separates.
Add asafoetida and fenugreek powder.
Once it boils, switch off.
Add some curry leaves and coconut oil.
Leave it covered for 2 minutes.
It tastes better the next day.
Enjoy the meen mulakittathu with hot rice.
